Gunpowder River Report 8/06/07

Running at 156 cfs
Temps upper 50's to York Rd. warming to mid to upper 60's below Bluemount

The fishing has been interesting with the flow variables of late. Expect large (#14) ants ad beetles to be your best bet for surface activity though scattered trico, midge, and BWO's can keep the fish looking at different goodies.
Below the surface Soft Hackles, Streamers, LARGE Stonefly Nymphs, Hellgramite and rockworm patterns (Green Weenie, Gunpowder Rockworm) have all been effective.

Be sure t check the links below for the latest flow changes and please visit the Forums and sign up at http://www.greatfeathers.com/forums/index.php for more info, helping others, questions..sometimes even answers :)

Tight Lines and Bright Flies,
Mike K
