Gunpowder Fly Fishing Report

After the downpour the Gunpowder is in great shape...running at 77 cfs and clear and cool (58degrees) at Falls Rd. and 133cfs at Glencoe Rd. The water at Glencoe is still a bit murky as of 9am. this morning but VERY fishable (perfect streamer water and it was hard to open on time this morning as nice as the flow and color was).

Caddis have been productive early mornings and terrestrials throughout the day. We have some BWO and Sulphur activty late from the dam down to Falls Rd. and are spotting a few Blue Quills throughout the river. Look for Tricos in the morning any day now!
