Afternoon Sulphurs

Last weeks adjustments to flows have resulted in colder temps and more normalized hatches.
The river is at 78cfs ( ATTN. flow cut back to 34cfs onThursday) and running in the upper 50's to low 60's thru most of the catch and release area. Sulphers and caddis are the mainstay with better hatch activity in the early afternoon then we had with the warmer temps. Evenings are still seeing the heaviest hatches and the spinner falls have accounted for a lot of nice fish.

We got our orders from Cookshill and Veniard yesterday and as usual we didn't get everything we wanted but have a pretty good selection of the mainstays such as Snipe, English grouse, Woodcock, Jackdaw, and much more. Stop by or give us a call while there's a good selection. many of these game bird skins, wings, and feathers are seasonal and we won't see much more before the fall. We also got some SUPERB dyed partridge skins from Steve at Cookshill...like we have come to expect there's none better.

Tight Lines,
Mike
