July 16th and not bad.,........

** Gates opened last night river running at 125 cfs at Falls Rd. 7/19/07**

The Gunpowder is running at 86 cfs at the Falls Rd. bridge and the fish have some room to stretch thier fins!

The upper section between the dam and falls Rd. has been producing well both on top and fishing wets and nymphs. Streamer fisherman have some water to work with now and some nice fish are being taken.

Ants, Beetles, Hoppers, Crickets, BWO's, Tan and Green Caddis on top and the usual suspects underneath. Try some "Go To's" as a dropper or Copper Johns....to tell the truth almost anything is working with a good presentation. Large Stone Fly nymphs and Hellgramites are REALLY killing.

** Spring Creek in Centre County Pa** trico hatch has begun, call or ask on the message boards if you want details.

We are now a Diamondback, Cortland and Hardy dealer. If you want to cast a rod that blows away the competition and leaves you the cash to buy a reel too stop in and cast a Diamondback Classic Trout....you'll see what a great rod can do at almost 1/2 the price of the heavily advertised rods of yesterday. And we think they're even prettier then those overpriced green things LOL! We know they cast and fish better.

New materials from Cookshill in England arrived this weekend and we expect Veniards' delivery mid-week, see why we are the ONLY place for a tier to go on the east Coast!

We work very hard to be a classic fly shop and hope you stop in and see this difference.
